Its so hard when thier nails are dark. You dont want to cut too short and cause them to bleed. I just barely cut the tips off of my dogs. My chiahuahua has some "transparent" nails(or whatever you want to call it) so I use those nails as my guide for the rest of them. But for my yorkie I just cut a little off every 2 weeks. She is a pain becuase she squirms so much. Its like pulling teeth trying to clip her nails! |
