I am probably going to have to endure a lot of "That's too big to be a purebred Yorkie!" comments.

Ollie is over four pounds at 8 weeks old.

He's not chubby either. He's just big. His mother was very small (about 4 lbs) and his father was very big (around 15 lbs).

My vet must not see many large yorkies, because she mentioned that he was going to be a "big" dog several times during his first vet visit. 15-16 pounds is her excited estimation. She can't wait to see if he gets as big as she thinks he is!

I agree though, that people should not be rude and all stores should allow dogs.
