I'm no expert, but I think you're right to question the need for bordatella. I've heard recently that the side effects could be more harmful than kennel cough itself. Kennel cough is really nothing more than a bad cold, and they recover from it pretty quickly. And a bordatella shot is no guarantee that they won't get kennel cough anyway.
I recently got mine a bordatella shot because it was required for an obedience class, but if I had my druthers I think I'd pass. |
