I checked to make sure there were no wounds or blood, then left. When I got home, Ginger was limping. We had her checked out, good thing was she seemed okay. I was terrified, I thought my yorkie was for sure dead! We called Animal Control, but it doesn't sound like much can be done if you're not injured. There is not enough justice for little dogs!
My sister lives in Dallas TX. and she has gone through the same thing with her small terrier. She said it's terrible. That there are no leash laws. Her dog was grabbed by a Doberman at a public park. She was walking her on a leash and this guy pulled up and just let his two Doberman out and yelled "they aren't friendly keep your dog away." Before she knew it the dogs ran up to her and were grabbing at Sabrina. She pulled her up by her harness but the one got her and luckily just left a small bite. The guy took his dogs, got back into the car and left. She reported it but not much to be done as you said. I'm glad you baby was alright. I'd certainly go over there on my own and at least tell them what pieces of crap they are. I know it don't do any good but I know for me it would make me feel better. Elaine
