Well, it's just so it doesn't get on anything inside your (or someone else's) house. It's not really so much for them peeing.....although, it will soak up that too if they're not trained yet, but some boys just have to "mark" everything ....you know, when they lift their leg against something and just a little comes out? When they pee, it's a PUDDLE....this is just a LITTLE puddle, LOL.
It seems to me that since I started using bellybands, Madison doesn't seem to have as many "accidents" when I leave it off him, so I wouldn't swear to it, but it might help to train them too. Of course, since he was neutered, he's doing it a LOT less anyhow. But I still find an occasional 'wee' here or there, so I just figure I'll keep using them just to be safe; besides I think they look cute
