You just have to be very careful that they are completely dry and aren't going to go moldy. It would make me nervous but I know it can be done.
As for Orijen, I posted a thread a few weeks ago about bone fragments in their food. If quality control can't catch that there is something wrong somewhere.
I don't want it to sound like I think everyone needs to stop feeding kibble because if I had a big dog and couldn't afford to homecook I'd have to do the same. But I am so picky with Ellie that she will probably never go on it again (hopefully). There are always circumstances though where it might have to be used.  |
