I just spoke with my vet yesterday. My yorkie is 37 days along today. The vet said that they can do an ultrasound anywhere from 3-4 weeks after the date of the tie. Typically, they will perform an X-ray 50-57 days from the date of the tie. Most breeders have told me that the Xray (which will determine number of puppies, position of puppies, skull size, etc) should be done around day 55 - 57.
