Well, it depends on the treats!!

First let me say obesity is the number one health threat to dogs. 1 out of every 3 dogs in the US is obese, putting them at greater risk for heart disease, cancers, bone and joint disease and injury and worse. Prevention is the best medicine. I know she is your everything, but remember that you are doing limiting her treats for her benefit, because you love her.

I reccomend cutting down using this strategy:
a) buy grain free freeze dried protein treats like Halo Liv-A-Littles Chicken. These will limit carbs and thereby weight and they are easy to digest.
b) Liv a Little's are $9.00 for a tiny box. The price alone keeps me from over treating!! I wouldn't give more then 3-4 a day. I know its hard, but its so, so worth it. Once a dog is overweight it is SO hard to get them healthy again.

Invest more time/ energy/ money into her meals. Use tripe to convince her to eat meals, consider and research raw feeding. This way, you can love her by providing an optimum diet to keep her healthy as many years as possible!!
