My yorkies are kept inside a majority of the time, outside of walks and dog park visits, so we've never had a problem. However, my brother called me 3 days ago saying him and his buddy were walking along the sidewalk and out of nowhere a pit bull attacked his friend. My brother is a big guy, 6'3" and his friend was only 5'6" so my brother kicked the crap out of the pit until it released his friend's pant leg. Only a couple of scratches, but if that guy had been on his own there's no telling what could have happened. They called animal control, but the dog was long gone by time someone showed up. When are people going to take responsibility for their dogs?!?
