Welcome to YT! Congrats on your new baby boy! Arent they just the best!!!
I would also suggest a expen, this will hold a pee pad, bed, water, food and toys. Gives him plenty of room.
Also for when he is out of the crate you may want to look into wee wee wraps. I make them and they are perfect for puppy training.
