help!!!! my 4 1/2 month old puppy is teething worse than I have ever experienced with my other puppies.. the vet suggested using baby oral gel which I have tried but it is a real fight to get it in his mouth much less on his gums... I am wondering if it is safe to give baby aspirin.. I have give it to my adult dogs and all I wanted to try was maybe 1/2 baby aspirin..he weighed 5.7lbs a few weeks ago when he got his last shots.. don't get me wrong I hate medicating any animal but I also know how bad a toothache can hurt..any suggestions...I have all the kongs, and chill sticks, puppy nylabones even bought a baby chill ring--none of it keeps his interest long enough...or it just doesn't work....
