i just moved from michigan to texas a few years ago and texas is so much better IMO!
yes, it is very hot but much more preferable than the 98 degree with 98% humidity weather we got in michigan (all that "lake effect")
honestly i think the grass is a little weirder here (more prickly and itchy) and there are weirder bugs (compared to what i was used to up north
) but all in all the mosquitoes in DFW are nothing compared to up north by all the lakes!
texans are really nice and friendly too!! and they actually do say "all yall"
which i thought was some sort or urban myth
