Hi! We live in Lakeland, Florida and take Scooter over to Ft. Desota in St. Pete. They have a wonderful "dog" beach at the fort and separate playgrounds for large and small dogs complete with showers. It's wonderful for the furbutts, they all seem to get along. St. Pete is very dog friendly! Great place to go and I believe Ft. Desota's beach was selected as the #1 beach in the US again this year.
