As a few others have suggested, frequent urination is a sign of diabetes like my Lady has. Did your vet do any bloodwork? A basic cbc will show blood glucose.

Another disease that affects older dogs is Cushings. Symptoms are frequent urination, hair loss and a pot bellied look. It is more difficult to diagnose.

It's tough when our furbabies get old, isn't it?
