Thank you for the information. Yes, LP is all too common unfortunately. It is primarily genetic, although injury can cause it as well. I can understand breeders not guaranteeing against LP because of the injury factor, but I think it is unethical to breed dogs that have LP and are producing puppies with LP. I'm sorry you had a bad experience.

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
