Thank you the warning. I am very familiar with this scam. That's why I have been searching locally. Again, this person is not asking for any money and is not trying to re-home her Yorkie in a different area. She lives in Seattle and posted an ad in Seattle Craigslist. I already talked with her a lot about Sasha. I told her that although my Grandma wanted a younger dog, I would put the word out in YorkieTalk about 10 year old Sasha.
She said that a few local families have inquired about Sasha but have not responded back once she told them that she had a little arthritis and needed dental work done.
I agree that you should not pay someone shipping that is offering a free dog. I completely suggest that anyone interested in Sasha go personally to see or to get Sasha. No money involved.
