That is what I figured. Mastitis is one thing breeders should always watch for. My first Yorkie would get it every time she had a litter and I have had others get it from time to time. If I see a female getting the hard milk glands I start her on the amoxicillin right away. I am just glad you caught it soon enough. Several years ago my step daughters pit bull got it and it was horrible. She had 12 pups and I think all but one ended up dying. Had she been paying attention to the dog that would not have happened. I like happy endings.
