To be honest with you I'm really not sure if they would fit a 3lb yorkie. My baby girl Emmie is only a little over 2 pounds and they are way too big on her. So I actually don't think they would fit yours, but they are 100% cotton so I'm sure they will shrink but not sure how much. Hope this helps. Sorry on the package they came in it only says fits dogs up to 8" so it really doesn't help that much. They are really cute though. I wish they would fit my yorkie but I'm pretty sure even when she is full grown they still won't fit her.
