I got this idea from a member on another forum. It's made from Closetmaid components, so it's really large. The bottom is a two drawer unit and the top has two shelves. You take the shelves out and put PVC piping in to hang the clothes on.

But no, it doesn't stop you from buying clothes. I have the overflow/out of season clothes in plastic storage containers. I really need another one.
