That said, Continental is the best for flying your pet in cargo. The cargo is temp controlled plus they have "pet service' where your puppy is taken to the plane by truck instead of the luggage cart. It is the last loaded on and the first off loaded.
Daisy flew Continental from Miami to NJ. She was off the plane so quick and was perfectly fine.
