The norm for my litters are 2 -3 in a litter. Are most of yours born by CSections? That would increase the costs. I try to avoid that by breeding bigger girls so scarey for the small girls to go thru that to produce puppies.
Heck a lot of times I get only one per litter.
But I am breeding for me first and foremost.
We sometimes keep until 9 months or so to realize they didn't get big enough then place them into pet homes. I always have people waiting to see if one is going to make the cut or become available as a pet for them.
