do you think maybe giving her the amlodipine but in a smaller amount woulld help. I do not know why the vet is letting us not give her "anything" she has had since last Monday to research an alternative med. I mean the benaleperil isn't doing much for her if her bp was still going up. I am giving her sodium free spring water and she is on hills d/d for now. wanted to switch her food to maybe raw- but we also discovered she has pancreatitis as of yesterday. we will have to talk to the im spec about diet as well. I know low sodium, low phos. those are all low in the raw diet but with so much going on with her I don't want to do anything just yet. I am so scared to give her the amlodipine. but we ALSO do not know if the amlodipine caused her to faint. I still think she had a seizure bc she had a bowel movement both times she went down. first time she was out for about 3 seconds and the second time about 15 seconds. scared me half to death. omg did that scare me. i am still re-living it.
