OMG! I am so sorry! I live in the desert and there are lots og cyotes here, but I have never had to worry in my own yard. I lived in Indiana a few years back and had a cairn terrier then. When I took her out to potty one morning a baby cyote tried to get her. Thankfully it was young and didn't really know how to grab her but it did take a bite in her rear that took several stitches to repair. I freaked out then. I just cannot imagine how much this hurt you. I am so so sorry! Bless his brave little heart!
