Well...Stomper has not been around any male dogs, so it was not learned. When he goes potty in the backyard, he always pees like a girl. But watch out on walks...HE IS A BOY LIFTING LEG MACHINE!!!!
I personally think it is instinct and not learned. It is just a male thing...
