Was the vet in the room to hear the assistant making those comments? If not, I would definitely mention it. And if he/she was there then I'd think twice about going back. Of all the people, they ought to know that our pets are family. Jojo is definitely treated like a son and not a dog/animal. Oh my, I'm getting riled up just thinking about it!!
