I just flew w/ Milo last month.
You have to remove them from the carrier and carry them through security with you as the carrier goes through the machine with your shoes, bag, etc.
Sorry.
This is the very reason I decided to keep it at one yorkie.
I can pick up and go----- I would never be able to decide who to leave behind.
