I need to get Chip some more flea/tick stuff for next month because he is due for more on the 21 of June and we started using Frontline. Obviously, I don't want him getting any ticks and we do take him outside a whole lot. Ticks have actually been really bad this year already and he even had one on him in March! Frontline also, is a bit expensive. $60 for 3 months! My question is, would it be bad to use a flea/tick collar or flea/tick spray when he goes outside? I also just got a free sample of Minksheen and it says it has repellant in it... does it actually work? Or should I just stick with Frontline? The problem is, it seems vets push and push for Frontline and Advantix, but don't teach you about other options for our dogs, so I'm clueless as to what I should do.
