 Aloha Hawaii!
Aloha Everyone........I'm originally from Hawaii, born and raised there. I've been living in Myrtle Beach, SC. for the past 3 yrs. now b/c I have 3 Yorkies w/c I acquired while on a business trip here. Artie has a major case of "Seperation Anxiety" and I could never crate him or be away from him for a day let alone 4 months, magnify the cost times 3?
Hawaii may be a Great Vacation......Paradise even for the visiting Pet, of Famous Movie Stars but as much as I Love Hawaii, in every way? Except for the Economy and Housing w/c Sucks! It is nearly impossible to Rent a Condo,
Apartment or House that is willing to let you have a small Pet let alone 3 of them!
Unless of course you can afford to buy your own Property there? And even if you could afford it you and your pampered pooch would still have to be approved the Home Owners Assn. w/c is very time consuming.
Not to mention Hawaii is not too "Pet Friendly"! Dogs are not allowed on the Public Beaches or Parks and it is still considered a Novelty or Luxury to have any Toy Breed, especially a Yorkie? In fact I didn't see a Yorkie in person until
I came to the Mainland/States. I guess you could say I gave up Hawaii for my Yorkies? Now that's Love! |
